What is Synthic?
Synthic is an AI visibility and GEO research platform for reviewing brand mentions, cited sources and claims in AI answers, checking public page access, and preparing evidence-backed website improvements.
What does Synthic do?
Synthic keeps a buyer question, the original AI answer, collection details and cited sources together. Teams can inspect mentions, compare saved observations, review brand claims against approved facts, and connect a finding to a content brief or page improvement.
Crawler checks inspect public page delivery, returned HTML, robots rules and indexing directives. Backlink research uses imported source and target URLs; an imported list is not a complete web index. A page-access check is a diagnostic request, not evidence that an AI provider crawled or indexed that page.
Which AI models does Synthic support?
The live collection adapters support OpenAI (labeled ChatGPT), Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Perplexity and xAI Grok. Available engines, model identifiers, retrieval modes and usage allowances appear in the workspace.
An API response is not a recording of the consumer ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini application. Retrieval support differs by adapter and model. A response without citations must not be described as a citation-bearing search result. Synthic preserves imported answer provenance separately from API collection.
How much does Synthic cost?
The Free plan is $0. Published monthly paid plans are Founder at $49, Growth at $199 and Agency at $499; Enterprise scope is arranged separately. Annual billing has a published 10% discount.
Compare current brand, audit, repetition and seat limits on Pricing. Collection depends on configured providers and the workspace allowance. Subscription access does not bypass provider availability or spending limits.
Can Synthic change a website automatically?
Supported WordPress workflows prepare scoped metadata changes with review and verification. GitHub and GitLab connections support specific proposed changes through draft pull or merge requests; the repository workflow supports new llms.txt discovery files, and the scoped metadata adapter requires a compatible synthic.metadata.json file.
Synthic does not provide unrestricted editing of every website or automatically merge and deploy every recommendation. The issue type, supported adapter, destination and permissions determine the available action. Export a draft when a direct connection is unsuitable.
Does Synthic guarantee AI mentions or citations?
No. Synthic measures observations and helps teams prioritize supported changes. It cannot guarantee indexing, rankings, mentions, citations, or that an AI answer adopts a correction. Public product illustrations are labeled examples; they are not customer outcomes.
A claim review is an assessment against the approved sources available for that review. Unsupported wording needs investigation; it is not automatically a proven hallucination. Keep the quoted claim, source and reviewer assessment with the action.
How do I evaluate Synthic?
Start with one brand, a small set of real buyer questions and one original answer. Inspect its source links, review a specific proposed improvement and save or export the action. Use the demo to understand the workflow before expanding the research scope.
